Excited to Be Appointed as an International Ambassador of The Medical Cannabis Clinicians Society
I’m really honored to share some exciting news — I’ve been appointed as an International Ambassador for The Medical Cannabis Clinicians Society (MCCS), with my certificate valid until November 2025.
When I first began battling for medical marijuana, I had no conception that one day I’d be representing such an important organization on the global level. This nomination is humbling and motivating. It’s not just a certificate – it’s a call to mission.
As an ambassador, my job is to raise awareness of medical cannabis and the mission of the Society globally. That involves sharing reliable, evidence-based information to broader communities, engaging with clinicians and researchers across borders, and, above all, continuing to speak for patients who are worthy of having safe and effective treatment options.
Over the years, I’ve met people whose lives have been transformed by medical cannabis. Their stories inspire me every day and remind me why this work matters. Being part of MCCS gives me the chance to help ensure more patients have access to that same kind of hope and care.
I want to thank Amber Spadone-Beaumont, Head of Memberships at MCCS, and the entire team for trusting me with this responsibility. I’m excited to contribute, to learn, and to work alongside other ambassadors who are equally passionate about advancing awareness and improving healthcare outcomes.
So what then? For me, it’s about rolling up my sleeves and continuing on — educating, campaigning, and forging stronger international connections on medical cannabis.
Here’s to the future, and to ensuring there are more voices in this critical debate.
